The CEO of a mid-market regulatory consulting firm wanted TalentSum to assist them in hiring a new Recruitment leader and to make a number of improvements all across their talent acquisition and recruitment function.
TalentSum began the project by collecting thousands of data points and then translating all of it new insights . TalentSum then used those insights to support in their development of a new talent strategy and plan, employer brand, value proposition, core messaging, career site copy, hiring profiles, candidate personas, and job description. They also set up a separate recruiting ATS (Workable), used it to engage with the executives outside the organization, deployed several useful sourcing tools, and established a formal hiring process with stages to support the initiative.
Working alongside the client's team as a recruiting/hiring support agent, TalentSum screened applicants, graded possible candidates, disqualified those in the pipeline but not qualified, and pushed up into view those worth considering. Together, TalentSum and the client collaborated and communicated inside the ATS and worked together to move potential candidates up through the stages until the new leader was hired.
Throughout the project, TalentSum utilized various solutions to cut costs, streamline processes, shorten time to hire and cost per hire, and acted as an internal resource for the client. The search was confidential, with no marketing or placement on job boards, meaning that the client's name was not mentioned anywhere until they were in serious discussions with active/qualified candidates.
During their time together, TalentSum turned over all work product, including any necessary files, and the client was responsible for their safekeeping. The client owned all copyrightable work, ideas, inventions, products, or other information that TalentSum created in connection with the Deliverables/Services they provided.
TalentSum successfully completed the project within the agreed timeline and budget, exceeding the client's expectations. They were able to assist the client in sourcing and recruiting a new Recruitment leader - essentially combining one private, high-level search and multiple consulting projects into one effort - resulting in significant cost savings of up to 40-50% compared to a typical work of that type.
